Already my thoughts are the New Year and dreaming of scores and scores of vintage christmas stuff!

My friend Sue over at Vintage Rescue Squad has put together yet another fabulous calendar that includes the dates of most major US Flea markets and antique shows as well as many local and regional events too.

Each month features a fab picture from Sue and some of her junking friends of what else? Killer junk!

There's December and a GeorgiaPeachez wreath.

I spend all year hunting down the most beautiful vintage christmas ornaments.

Shiny Brites, Polands, West Germany and Made in the good ol' USA.

I have customers that display their wreaths year round, they love them so much :->

Each wreath is a one of a kind creation, destined to become a family heirloom.

~My Wreaths~

I have been making these wreaths for many years and I have perfected my time tested method. I have wreaths in my personal collection that I store in my attic, during the hot summer, and they are still just as beautiful as the day I crafted them.

The wreath measures 15" in diameter. I find this is an easy size to work with in the decor, to ship and to store for the off season.

I wrap the wreath form in tinsel, (no cheesy fake evergreen here!) so the reverse of the wreath is beautiful too. There is a wire hook for hanging.

I adhere lots and lots of ornaments, big, small and tiny, filling in all the gaps so you see beautiful ornaments where ever you look.

~Shipping~

I purchase new shipping cartons and packing materials. Your wreath will come carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and nestled in packing peanuts. You can reuse the shipping container for storage.

I ship via Fedex Ground and have found them to be very gentle with my delicate packages and have NEVER had a breakage. Packages are automatically insured with Fedex.

I love a trip to the thrift store that scores a lot for just a little. Exactly $2 little.

This box has a whole lot of goodies.

Especially these Italian glass ornaments, the made in Japan crab! and clip on butterflies.

We had the same butterfly ornaments on our tree when I was little.

I love a little trip down memory lane.

I've put 6 new wreaths in the Etsy shop including two special pink wreaths :->

I love this little glass and bead spider ornie that I found and added to this wreath.

This one has a sweet tulle skirted angel. This wreath is wrapped in spun metal tinsel that adds a subtle sparkle.

These pink wreaths would be perfect for year round display too.

Thanks to everyone that bought a wreath from me this year.

I've heard from a lot of wreath lovers that didn't get a chance to acquire a wreath, so here is what I'm going to do.

My Vintage Ornie Box Creations are Ready

I burned the midnight oil last night and finally finished up making my vintage ornament box "dioramas" as I like to call them.

I've got a large selection this year, from tiny to big.

Now begins the arduous task of photographing them for listing but I will get it done and they should be available sometime this evening.

I will be working on a new batch of wreaths this weekend too.

Love the Week after Halloween

I've been trolling all the thrift stores and antique malls this week. Historically the week after Halloween is when they throw out all the Christmas stuff they have been holding back all year.

So far the pickings have been great!

Almost all of this is from the thrift store. Check out that box of vintage japan goodness in the front.

This means more wreaths to come!

That Time of the Year

I've been up to my earlobes in hot glue and vintage christmas goodness.

That's right, I'm working on all my Christmas crafting and as if I didn't already have enough to do, I decided to start this little blog.

I'm just a bit obsessed with vintage christmas goodness I decided to make an entire blog about it. That way I won't bore everyone over at my other blog going on and on about Shiny Brites and putz houses.

I just listed my first wreath of the season over on eBay. (SOLD)

I poured all my best vintage pink ornaments of the year into this wreath.

As you can tell, this blog is still under construction.
